Changes for Quarter 2

I am going to try something different for this chapter. It seems that no matter how hard we work, there is never enough time to complete the assignment and a task in class. To better make this possible, I will assign a video as homework. The students can watch and re-watch this video to help them understand the new concepts. Then in class, we will do a short instruction time followed by our task and assignments. This should provide me time to work with students .

Midterm

Midterm is September 14, 2012. ALL make-up, missing work, and absent work is due this day! This is all of Unit 1 and the test re-take for Secondary 1 classes. It is Units 1 and 2 for 8th grade. There will be NO EXCEPTIONS!

The Secondary 1 re-take will be held on September 13. Students MUST have all assignments in the packet completed and MUST correct all of their errors on the first test.
